Jack has served as Pastor of First Baptist Church, since August 2007
and considers it a privilege to be a part of this church family. He is
deeply committed to the local church and is passionate about the
importance of BELONGING to a community of believers, USING our gifts and
abilities to honor our Lord and serve others, both in the church and IN
THE COMMUNITY. He is also deeply committed to encouraging and
equipping parents to be the SPIRITUAL GUIDE of their children and
encouraging everyone to experience FAITH AT HOME as the goal of their
lives.
Jack was senior Pastor at Summerland Baptist Church for 17
years, Associate Pastor at Emmanuel Baptist, Saskatoon for 5 years and
served as the President of the Canadian Baptist Foundation (formerly the
Baptist Union Development Foundation) for 7 years. He is married to Pam
who partners with him in ministry and is honoured to be the father of
two wonderful children and grandfather to two beautiful grandchildren
Joanne has been attending First Baptist since 1995 at which time she married Joe Flood. Since then, they have been blessed with 3 boys, James, Joel and Josh. After volunteering in different ministries and once her boys were all in school, she started working part time as the Office Administrator. She enjoys interacting with the folks who visit, call or email, manages the office and keeps everything flowing in a timely manner. Please do not hesitate to call her if you have any questions.
Pam is passionate about the potential and "wonder" of children, being a mother of two awesome children, a Speech and language Pathologist for 30 years, a Preschool teacher and now as Director of Children and Families Ministry. She is committed to partnering with parents to guide children in their spiritual journey and help them to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus. She is blessed to work with a team of committed volunteers who faithfully and relentlessly give of their time and talents to bless our children.
