What To Expect
Our day will start with an outdoor activity at various locations around town. You can look at all your options and locations by clicking this Sign-up link or the one above on step 2. After that, we will all head back to the church for a buffet sandwich lunch and the rest of the retreat. We will get to listen to a great Guest Speaker, join in a breakout session of your choice, enjoy a BBQ hamburger dinner and then finish off with a lip-synch battle! It will be a full day of reconnecting and fun!
Guest Speaker: David Ruis
We are excited to welcome David Ruis as our FBC Retreat guest speaker. David is the National Director of Vineyard Canada and a well-respected worship leader and songwriter (You're Worthy Of My Praise, Every Move I Make, and much more).
His most recent album, When Justice Shines, was released through ION Records. David has also authored two books: The Worship God Is Seeking and The Justice God Is Seeking. David resides in Kelowna with his wife Anita. David will be speaking about the integration of worship and life.
