Our Kindergarten - Grade 4 class is going to visit the Kelowna Women’s Shelter on Palm Sunday with much needed supplies and gifts. Please bring in donations by April 17 so that our children can bless the women and children of Kelowna for Easter! The following is a list of things that are needed:
- Gift cards in lieu of Hampers- Movie recreational pass
- Clothing: New underwear, backpacks, socks, slippers, pajama's, robes
- Journals for women to record their plans and thoughts
- Pay as you go phone cards- Gift cards for: groceries, household items (Wal-mart, Safeway, Superstore, etc.)
- Twin and double size bed linens, pillows and plastic covers
- Towels of all sizes but especially bath
- wash clothes
- Alarm clocks, watches, batteries, coffee, kettles
- Kitchen utensils, non-stick pots and pans
- Cutlery
- Laundry Soap (liquid) and cleaning supplies
- Garbage Bags and paper products
- DVD's or rental gift cards (non-violent please)
- School and office supplies especially pens, white out, file folders, labels, scotch tape, and post it notes
- For babies: formula, food, diapers, wipes, monitors
- For women: razors, deodorant, shampoo & Conditioner, toothbrush/paste
