We believe that anointed Bible teaching is a catalyst
for life change. Each week classes designed for Biblical discipleship and application of truths are held for adults of all ages. Everyone is invited to attend. Adults
1. That the World May Know. The ancient biblical world contains thousands of lessons that we can draw on to strengthen our Christian faith. Often simply understanding the culture of the time can spread new light on God's plan for our lives. These Faith Lessons tell the stories of the ancient world, and share why they are still important for us today.
2. Spiritual Parenting We are all on a spiritual journey together and, as parents, grandparents, members of a faith community, we have the privilege of coming alongside God as He does the work of transformation in the lives of our children. Let's talk about how we can create opportunities and environments, a climate that shapes the hearts and minds of our children, putting them in the path of the divine. How do we create and capitalize on those teachable moments, weaving faith into the very fabric of our children's' lives? This class is based on the book "Spiritual Parenting" (by Michelle Anthony) and content is presented in six DVD's, intermingled with discussion, prayer and sharing of stories and ideas. Childcare will be provided. Participants will be provided with a copy of the book (which is also available in our Resource Room).
3. Middle & High School group – led by Tyler Kraushar using the Nooma DVDs by Rob Bell. Getting teens thinking and talking about real life issues.
4. Ten Fundamentals of Successful Caregiving. The goal of this class is to prepare (help and encourage) good people to do the best job possible, and truly honour your aging parent, relative, spouse or friend without losing yourself in the process. This unique opportunity to meet with others and discuss this important topic is a positive step in being an effective caregiver.
