It is so very exciting to participate in God's Story of reconciliation and ministry. As a Church Family we recognize our role supporting and participating in God's plan. We believe we are called to actively participate in the "big picture" of God's Story.
What does that mean for us here at FBC?
In part, participating in God's Story includes engaging in all the ministries you read about on the ministry pages listed on this website, but also more. Our part includes ministry beyond ourselves to include others in God's Story. This includes organizations who are part of the ministry here within the FBC building, including NA, AA, Little People DayCare, as well as ministries we are committed to supporting beyond our walls. We have been privileged to support The Women's Shelter, both tangible support and financial support over the years. You can find out more about the Women's Shelter from their webpage linked below.
FBC has also taken the step to support to two Missionary families who serve overseas. The Morgans are in Kenya, Africa, and the Guthries minister in Bolivia, South America. We cannot be present in those ministry locations, but we are glad to provide support to these families who serve through Canadian Baptist Ministries.
Please check out any of these linked webpages to gain an understanding of these significant ministries and how God is using them to bring reconciliation and support to individuals and families.
